The Guadalupe County Democratic Club is sponsoring a Meet & Greet on Saturday, October 29, 2016, at 4:30 pm. at the Court Street Coffee Shop, 111 W Court Street, Seguin, TX, to give everyone an opportunity to meet Rebecca Bell-Metereau, Democratic candidate for the State Board of Education, District 5 and Irene Rios, Democratic candidate for Justice of the 4th Court of Appeals.
NOVEMBER 8, 2016 GENERAL ELECTION
THIS SAMPLE BALLOT CONTAINS ALL THE RACES THAT PERTAIN TO GUADALUPE COUNTY FOR THE NOVEMBER 8, 2016 ELECTION. YOUR OFFICIAL BALLOT WILL ONLY CONTAIN THE RACES IN WHICH YOU ARE ELIGIBLE TO VOTE, BASED ON THE ADDRESS AT WHICH WE HAVE YOU REGISTERED. FOR EXAMPLE, YOUR UNITED STATES REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT WILL BE EITHER 15 OR 35, AND YOU MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE A STATE SENATOR RACE ON YOUR BALLOT, DEPENDING ON WHETHER YOU ARE REGISTERED IN DISTRICT 21 OR 25. AT THE LOCAL LEVEL, NO COUNTY RACES ARE CONTESTED, AND THE CITY, SCHOOL AND SPECIAL UTILITY DISTRICT RACES WILL APPEAR AS APPROPRIATE, BASED ON YOUR REGISTRATION ADDRESS. IF YOU AREN'T SURE WHICH JURISDICTIONS APPLY TO YOU PLEASE REFER TO YOUR VOTER REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE OR CALL THE ELECTIONS OFFICE AT 830-303-6363 OR 210-945-4199 AND WE CAN LOOK YOU UP IN OUR REGISTRATION SYSTEM. ONCE WE GET CLOSER TO THE ELECTION, WE WILL HAVE OUR ONLINE SAMPLE BALLOT TOOL AVAILABLE ON OUR WEBSITE, AND IT WILL ALLOW YOU TO TYPE IN YOUR ADDRESS AND ACCESS YOUR PARTICULAR SAMPLE BALLOT, WITH ONLY THE CONTENT THAT APPLIES TO YOU. WE UNDERSTAND HOW IMPORTANT THIS ELECTION IS AND WE ARE WORKING DILIGENTLY TO PROVIDE INFORMATION AND TOOLS AS SOON AS THEY BECOME AVAILABLE.

Volunteer with the Guadalupe County Democratic Party. Headquarters is located at 211 E. Court Street, Seguin. The following opportunities are available:
- Phone Banking - every Tuesday evening at headquarters from 6 to 8 pm.
- Block Walking - every Sunday afternoon beginning September 11. Meet at headquarters. Contact Duane McCune.
- Headquarter coverage - every weekday beginning Tuesday, September 6. We hope to have coverage from 2 to 7 pm. Sign up here.
- Become a Deputy Voter Registrar - If you are interested in becoming a Deputy Voter Registrar, you must attend training. Classes will be held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month beginning at 3 p.m. at the Seguin Elections Office. Please call 830-303-6363 to register to attend.

Judge Irene Rios swore in precinct chairs at the June 23rd Democratic Club meeting.
